Edwin R. Green, 89, died October 23 2002. Born in Stillwater, Okla., he graduated from John Brown University and served as chaplain at Brown Military Academy.

He pastored College Avenue Baptist Church, San Diego, Calif., 1940-48, then served as editor for World Wide Evangelistic Crusade.

He later pastored BGC churches in Kingsburg, Calif.; Seattle (Elim),Wash.; and Huntington Beach,Calif.

He is survived by two sons, six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
