Paul was a heavy smoker. Both him and Cathy smoked in excess of two packs of Camel cigarettes a day. They both died from smoking related illnesses.

After the Air Force and returning from England with Catherine, Paul and his family first lived in Highland Park, Los Angeles, California. Later they moved with family to a desert home in Barstow, California.

My brother Paul always enjoyed the heat. He said he loved the desert because of the heat.

Paul was a Para rescue man in the Air Force. Paul was physically fit and enjoyed the rugged survival that was required of a rescue parachutist.

Paul was stationed in England and at George Air Force Base in Victorville, California. George AFB was a TAC base.

As a child I remember Paul as very rowdy. Seems like he was always getting in trouble.

Paul had his nicer sides though. I remember when he taught me how to drive and when he drove me to the Doctors office when I had food poisoning.

Paul, as a child, tapped danced at the Maeglan (Sp?) studios in Hollywood California

He was married to Katherine Carey on 28 Sept, 1957 in England. Children were: Terry Jonathan Hileman , Sharon Hileman, Lostbaby Hileman, Debora A. Hileman, Victoria A. Hileman, Lee Edward Hileman, Lee Edward Hileman
